To use Asian Art to foster better understanding, establish warmer relationships and strengthen friendships between the East and West.

In particular, to support and promote the study, research and publication of the art, history and culture of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, Yunnan through the International Research Centre for the History and Culture of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms.
特别是通过南诏大理国历史文化国际研究中心来资助和推广云南南诏和大理国艺术、历史和文化的学习、研究和著作发表。
